Think about any of the advice you have ever heard about healing your eczema naturally. You have likely learned that:
eczema is gut-related..
food intolerance is a factor..
hormones affect the skin..
liver congestion is to blame..
There is truth to ALL of it. But it may not all apply to your specific case. So how do you figure out what you need to do to heal?

You will notice that all of the potential 'root causes' you have learned about relate back to one of these four key areas of the body:
1. Hormones
2. Immune system
3. Digestion
4. Detoxification
We therefore run a panel of lab tests that look into how well the above systems are doing their job. When we identify imbalance or dysfunction, there is a very high chance that fixing it will have a positive impact on your skin.
Lab tests for eczema can save you time, money, stress, a worsening condition from doing the wrong thing, and can get you off any plateaus that might be preventing progress. Best of all, you are working at the deepest level possible to heal your body's imbalances, meaning that you are truly healing rather than masking symptoms.
Consider all of the advice you could get busy implementing in your life:
Take probiotics
Get more sleep
Don’t eat sugar
Do a parasite cleanse
Take apple cider vinegar
Do a liver flush
Etc etc...
All of these things have gotten people results because they have improved something in one of the four key areas of hormones, immune system, digestion or detoxification.
4 Key Areas. Got it. So what next?
We need to use eczema lab tests to find out how well these 4 key areas are functioning. Remember, we’re not interested in just being in the ‘normal’ range. We have a genetic disposition for our skin condition, and so we need to make sure the function in these areas is optimal. Our function in these 4 key areas needs to be much better than average. In fact, that’s one of the main differences between functional lab testing and the conventional tests doctors typically run. Conventional testing generally screens for any chronic degenerative diseases, but functional labs test how far from perfect the body is performing. It’s what athletes use to perform at the top of their game. If we want to make as efficient progress as possible, we need to be at the top of our game too.
What are the Lab Tests for Eczema?
Here are the 3 foundational lab tests included in our health investigation & coaching package: Lab 1: Complete hormone panel (e.g. DUTCH Complete) Lab 2: Gut pathogen screen & assessment (e.g. GI-MAP) Lab 3: Food sensitivities test (e.g. IgG Dried Blood or MRT) Running these 3 tests reveals hidden dysfunction and imbalances that contribute to the majority of skin conditions. In fact, we have never run these tests for a client without finding some healing opportunities to work on. These are the 3 tests that give us a powerful insight into those 4 key areas we were talking about - hormones, immune system, digestion & detoxification.
Your Plan for Healing
Once we have the eczema lab test results, we can put together a highly-targeted healing plan that addresses all of your specific weaknesses. We will also know how dysfunctional your body is each area, so that we can prioritize our healing efforts for maximum results.
Perhaps it is worth spending money on those digestive enzymes after all, or completing that invasive liver flush. Maybe there are hidden pathogens in your system that are responsible for keeping you on a healing plateau despite your best efforts at a healthy lifestyle. We can find out what they are and what you need to do to eradicate them.
Sometimes. diet and lifestyle alterations can get you to your ideal level of skin health. When this is not enough, running some eczema lab tests is the logical next step.
